My first encounter with water was at a very tender age. My dad taught me how to swim before I turned one and I am sure he is very proud he did. You see, I swam competitively from nursery up to my last year in University. Through this journey, I battled with illness, balancing books and sports but one thing surely stood out: I WAS BORN TO DO THIS. Fitness, sports, swimming, bicycles, skipping ropes and dumbbells were what I was made for and when the right time came, a dare from someone I hardly recall, to become a fitness trainer, was exactly what I needed to jump into the gym and find a home.
My name is Stephanie Wanjiku Mwaura and I am a professional fitness trainer and I love what I do.
I love working out, hiking, cycling, swimming, walking, lifting all kinds of weights and I run when I have to. Fitness is my lifestyle. I am a mother of one and I must admit, getting back on to the workout bandwagon has been the toughest part of my fitness journey.
